Professor Alaa Garad Awarded Honorary Ambassador of Knowledge in Ljubljana

The Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation proudly announces that Professor Alaa Garad, co-founder of the Centre, has been awarded the prestigious Honorary Ambassador of Knowledge distinction by Life Learning Academia.
The award ceremony took place at Ljubljana City Hall, in the capital of Slovenia, and was attended by over 400 distinguished participants, including global leaders, academics, policymakers and advocates of lifelong learning.
This international honour recognises Professor Garad’s outstanding dedication to advancing learning and organisational knowledge as strategic drivers of performance, innovation and societal progress. Professor Garad joined a distinguished group of 17 global honourees, including former Prime Ministers of Montenegro, eminent scholars, public leaders, authors, mayors and members of parliament, reflecting a shared global commitment to knowledge as a force for positive transformation.
His recognised contributions include:
- The Learning-Driven Organisation (LDO) Model, enabling organisations to embed learning at the core of strategy and operations.
- The Certified Organisational Learning Professional Programme, equipping leaders and practitioners to drive learning transformation.
- Academic leadership through the Masters in Strategic Organisational Learning and broader global advocacy for knowledge sharing and organisational capability development.
