The Stirling Centre for Strategic Learning and Innovation is pleased to announce the launch of the Albania–Scotland Strategic Learning & Leadership Partnership with Barleti University in Tirana.
This strategic collaboration aims to strengthen leadership development, organisational learning, and international academic cooperation, while supporting Albania’s growing role in innovation, education, and health tourism. The partnership will create new opportunities for executive education, research collaboration, and the development of international learning frameworks designed to build leadership capacity and foster innovation across sectors.
The initiative introduces a multi-pillar framework focused on areas such as organisational learning standards, executive certification programmes, youth leadership development, and regional research initiatives. By combining Barleti University’s regional influence with the Stirling Centre’s expertise in strategic learning, foresight, and organisational excellence, the partnership aims to position Albania as a regional hub for leadership and innovation.
The partnership will be formally presented at the Forum on Medical and Health Tourism in Albania, hosted by Barleti University in Tirana on 10 March 2026, bringing together leaders from healthcare, tourism, academia, and industry to explore Albania’s potential as an emerging destination for international health tourism.
Supported by Professor Alaa Garad, President of the Stirling Centre and a recognised global expert in strategic learning and organisational excellence, the initiative reflects the Centre’s commitment to building international partnerships that translate learning into leadership, innovation, and societal impact.
