Stirling Centre Partnerships and Memberships

Over the past four months the centre has been actively establishing partnerships and engaging in meaningful and useful memberships

Our partnership as of today includes:

Forth Valley College is a Scottish further education institution that was formed in 2005 through the merger of Falkirk College and Clackmannan College with campuses in Alloa, Falkirk, and Stirling. It offers over 750 courses, from access to degree level, with a focus on providing skills for employment and career development. The college was established in 2005 and has a student population of over 13,500, with high progression rates to further study or work.

It provides a wide range of courses, including partnerships with universities for degree programs, and offers both full-time and part-time options. The college serves approximately 13,500 students annually, with a high success rate for graduates finding employment or continuing their education. Its curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed by employers. Through this collaboration, the centre will work with the college to offer selected courses and programmes internationally. Also there will be cooperation in terms of facilities use and exchange of staff members.

The International Customer Experience Institute (ICXI) is a UK-based global organisation dedicated to advancing excellence in customer and employee experience.

By integrating best practices across people, processes, and technology, ICXI enables businesses and institutions to build stronger relationships with customers and employees while achieving sustainable service excellence. ICXI will work with Stirling Centre to further develop the first every Global Standard on Organizational Learning. Expected March 2026.

Memberships

Stirling Centre has embarked on three strategic partnerships as following:

The Forth Valley Chamber of Commerce (FVCC) is a business membership organization in Central Scotland that aims to connect, empower, and advocate for businesses in Stirling, Falkirk, and Clackmannanshire. It provides a range of services and benefits to its members, which include networking events, business support, access to resources from the British Chambers of Commerce, and opportunities for international trade support. The FVCC has a diverse membership, from one-person organizations to large companies, and works to help all of them grow and prosper. 

Scotland’s International Development Alliance (SIDA) is a membership organization that promotes global sustainable development by bringing together NGOs, businesses, academic institutions, and public sector bodies to advocate for a fairer world free from poverty, injustice, and environmental threats. SIDA works to address issues like climate justice and human rights through policy advocacy, community engagement, and supporting its members through training, networking, and knowledge sharing. It aims to influence global policy in Scotland and the UK and empower citizens to take action on global challenges. The membership can open doors to funded projects and further international presence for the centre.

Patroned by HRH Princess Royal, and established in 1980, The British Quality Foundation (BQF) is a not-for-profit, independent membership organization in the UK that promotes excellence and performance improvement across all sectors. It provides services such as managing the UK Excellence Award, offering networking opportunities, and supporting organizations in learning from best practices and improving their performance. BQF also provides certifications, including in Lean Six Sigma, through its Academy. The membership is perfectly fall inline with the centre remit and advocacy for quality, learning and excellence and this will foster the positioning and reach of the centre among best in class organisations.
